Christy and many others shared great ideas!!! At this meeting we talked about some really simple things that we can do to advertise what we do. To brand the Gold Canyon name to us!! Here are my favorite:
Top 10 Things you can do to Advertise!!
- With Halloween coming, when you pass out candy to the kids, pass out a Tealight or two to the parents in a cute clear bag (with your contact info of course).
- Utilize "U-Tube" Gold Canyon videos. E-mail them to your customers!! Go to U-Tube and search "Gold Canyon". You'd be amazed at how many great video clips there are!!!
- Check out bulletin boards everywhere you go. Ask if you are allowed to put your business card or a flyer up. Offer a discount, or special if they contact you!!
- Register with FREE online shopping directories, and work at home Directories. (Must be FREE, we aren't allowed to PAY for any search engines or directories)
- Try creating a Gold Canyon My Space page!!
- Donate candles to local charities, Church raffles, Hospitals, Elementary Schools! It is a great way to get your name out there and it's a tax deduction!!
- Always have a Candle burning, or a Warmer warming in your home or at your desk!!! Once they smell, they'll be hooked!!
- Advertise in your local neighborhood or Elementary School newspaper. It is usually very inexpensive and is a possible donation (school). Plus, people love to support locals!!
- Utilize the powerful Gold Canyon tools we already have such as The Catalog, Empowering Women magazine, Your business card, then pass them out on a daily basis!!
- Purchase your own GC website which comes with the monthly E-newsletter created by GC. It is Fantastic!!
